This is where it all started. Shaun has been shooting landscapes seriously for about 12 years. His adventures with cameras began with film growing up in Vermont, learning the basics of exposure with his dad's Canon AE-1 and experimenting with disposable and other film cameras. Read more about how he moved into full-time photography here.
The pursuit of iconic landscape images has brought Shaun from his New England homeland to the desert Southwest, the American Rockies, the volcanos of the Pacific Northwest, the Great Plains, the continuation of the Appalachian chain through the Carolinas and into the southeast, and even as far north as the Canadian Rockies and into the arctic circle in Alaska and Nunavik. You can see all of this and more in his Landscapes portfolio. The images there should speak for themselves.
Fine art print ordering will be available direct through this website coming soon. Until then, Shaun continues to process requests for his signed fine art prints via email: [email protected].

Teaching outdoor workshops is about passing on the joy and craft of photography, helping people get comfortable with their gear, and maybe getting in a good hike while we're at it. Outdoor photography workshops are a blast!
Shaun loves to take people out into the White Mountains either one-on-one or occasionally in groups. If you're interested in figuring out how to get more out of your camera, these workshops are easy to schedule - Shaun is super spontaneous and loves to shoot! His background as a scientist has prepared him for a great breadth of technical aptitude, but the artist and outdoorsman inside is eager to pass along his love for the craft in an easy-to-understand, conversational and fun style.
No matter your setup - Nikon, Canon, Hasselblad, iPhone or any other box with a hole in it, Shaun always does his best to help you get the most out of your equipment, and acts as a local guide in the process.
